Please reach us at support@healthcor.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
An initial examination by your therapist will include reviewing your doctor's recommendations, examining the problem area, asking you questions about your injury or pain, developing an effective rehabilitation plan, discussing their findings with you, and answering any questions you may have. Hands-on, manual therapy, a customized exercise program, stretching, and physical agents such as heat, ice, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation may all be included in your treatment plan. To further assist you in your treatment, your physical therapist may also recommend a home program.
Throughout the course of your treatment we communicate with your referring provider.
Reports are sent after your initial evaluation, as you progress, and upon completion of therapy.
Should the need arise, our therapists will personally discuss your case with your provider.
You will receive treatment as prescribed by your physician and in accordance with the plan of care developed by your physical therapist. Patients typically require two to three treatments per week. Depending on your injury and personal progress, your treatment may last for a few weeks or months. You will be advised following your initial physical therapy examination, as well as how your condition progresses.
